Privacy Policy
In short: on the website we only collect what you type into a form. In the app, your microphone is analysed on your phone and never recorded or sent. If you sign in, we store your practice results so your progress is saved. Usage statistics are only collected if you switch them on. You can delete your account and all data from inside the app at any time.

3What we never collect
- Audio. The app listens through your microphone during a session to measure the pitch and length of your hum. This happens entirely on your phone. Sound is never recorded, stored or sent anywhere.
- Your location, contacts, photos or other apps' data.
- Medical diagnoses. Humming Trainer is a wellness exercise, not a medical device.
4Legal basis
- Contract: handling your booking request, and your app account and the syncing of your practice results, which are the service you ask for when you sign in.
- Consent: the mailing list, any health information you choose to share in a booking request (explicit consent, given with the checkbox on the form), usage statistics, and your answers to the app's start questions. You can withdraw consent at any time in the app's menu under Privacy.
- Legitimate interest: feedback you send and keeping the app secure and working.
5Who processes your data
We use a small number of service providers, each under a data processing agreement:
- GitHub hosts the website pages. It does not receive what you type into forms.
- Supabase stores website form submissions and app account and practice data on servers in Japan. The European Commission recognises Japan as providing an adequate level of data protection.
- Google handles sign-in when you choose "Sign in with Google".
- PostHog processes usage statistics on servers in the European Union, without storing your IP address.
We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.
6How long we keep it
- Mailing list: until you unsubscribe.
- Booking requests: 12 months if no session follows. Records of sessions are kept as professional rules require and are not stored on the website.
- App account, practice data and feedback: until you delete your account.
- Usage statistics: 12 months.
- Data on your phone: until you delete the app or its data.
7Your rights
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), you can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, object to or limit its use, and withdraw consent. Email psiproslab@gmail.com and we will reply within 30 days.
You can also complain to a data protection authority: in Thailand the Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC), or in the EU the authority of your country, for example the Belgian Data Protection Authority.
8Deleting your data or app account
Website: use the unsubscribe link in any email, or email psiproslab@gmail.com to have your form data deleted.
In the app: open the menu, go to Account, tap Delete account and confirm. Your account, practice results, feedback and profile are deleted immediately and permanently.
Without the app: email psiproslab@gmail.com from the email address of your account with the subject "Delete my account". We delete everything within 30 days and confirm by email. Usage statistics are not linked to your email address and expire after 12 months.
9Age
The website's services and Humming Trainer are meant for people aged 16 and over (18 for sessions). We do not knowingly collect data from younger children. If you believe a child has used the app, contact us and we will delete their data.
10Security
Data is encrypted in transit. On our servers, access rules ensure each person can only read their own data.
11Changes
If we change this policy, we update the date at the top and, for important changes, tell you in the app before they take effect.
